On Saturday, there will be a variety of structured and unstructured activities so we can all spend time together. From running around in the field, walking the trails, playing kickball , swimming in the chilly water, and seeing the area by kayak, to relaxing on the porch or eating a picnic by the lake, we hope everyone will enjoy their time in Vermont. Please let us know if you have any special requests or want to lead a group game or activity - the more the merrier!
What should I bring?
Ohana
is a family camp facility. Spending time outdoors is important to us,
so we’re hoping that this will be a beautiful weekend where we can all
spend time outdoors together. Please bring clothing etc. that focuses
on function rather than elegance. Ohana will supply all linens. In
addition to the basics, we suggest the following items for guests
staying at Ohana or partaking in Saturday’s events at the camp:
- comfortable clothes for playing outdoors at Ohana
- warm layers for the evenings
- bathing suit
- bug repellant and sunscreen
- flashlight
- sunglasses
- toiletries
- toiletries
What is the dress for the ceremony?
Wedding
attire is garden casual. What does that mean? No cargo pants, no
heels (the ceremony and cocktails are on the lawn). Simple dresses and
collared shirts or the equivalent may be the norm, but please wear
whatever is most comfortable for you. We’re sure that whatever you wear
will be great!
